He was an American Serial Killer and rapist. He is one of the notorious criminals of the late 20th Century and he killed around more then 36 women in 1970s. Got executed in 1989 with the help of Electric Chair.

Who Was Ted Bundy?

He was a serial killer, rapist & incest with dead bodies. Many of the novelist got inspired by his case and he got executed in Florida in 1989 with the help of Electric Chair. His mother name was Eleanor Louise Cowell and she gave birth to him when she was 22 years old. Over Ted’s birth certificate there is no such mension about his father and it’s mention as “Unknown” till today his biological farther’s identity have not been confirmed. According to a popular american author and his coworker Ann Rule Ted’s father was an Air Force veteran and a Penn State Graduate. Some of the sources said that his grandfather was his father but know one knows clearly who was his father. When his mother married with Johnnie Bundy by thinking that he may like his father but he didn’t had much respect for his stepfather. His mother louise was working in an University as secretary.

Ted Bundy Early Life

He was born in Burlington, Vermont, on November 24, 1946. He was the love child of Louise and she brought back to her parents home later on in Philadelphia. His mother also hidden the fact that he was an illegitimate child, She told to her parents that she took him and adopted him and she told that his mother was his sister. He grew up in a working class family and just at the age of 3 he become more fascinated about knives. He was a shy boy and was very bright student. As he grownup he started showing up his character and he start stealing from other houses from Window he never had second thought before stealing of others people things. He graduated from University of Washington with psychology degree in 1972. He also enrolled himself in a law school in Utah but never went there and never earn any law degree. When he was a student in University of Washington he fell in love with one of the wealthy, young women from California but when he broke up from that lady everything devastated and there were many victims were look like that beautiful girl with long and dark hair.

In 1970s he changed himself alots and started working on social and political matters. Even he got a letter of recommendation from Republican governor of Washington for his campaign. When he got caught by the cops he confessed to killings of 36 young women in several stats of America during 1970 but there were alots of people saying that it was more then 100. The killings of women were same at a pattern first he raped to the victims and then beating them until death. When he started killings of the women during 1974 many women of Seattle area and in nearby area Oregon went out missing and they were last seen with young, dark-haired man whose name were “Ted.”

How Ted Bundy Was Caught by the Cops.

In the year 1974 he moved to Utah to attend law school but unfortunately women’s of Utah also began disappearing from there as well and in the same year some of the cops searches his vehicle found some of the unwanted tools like a crowbar, a face mask, rope and handcuffs and with the help of those tools cops started there investigation. In 1975 he got arrested for the kidnapping of a women named Carol DaRonch she escaped from the clutch of Ted and with the help of that women police of Utah successfully able to proof Ted’s crime for that he received around 15 year of jail sentence.

But unfortunately he escaped from the prison in 1977 twice first when he was accused for the murder charge of young Colorado woman even he fought the case himself and during the return of courthouse library he jumped from there and escaped just after eight days he captured again but in December he again try to escaped from the custody he jumped from a hole which he dig out himself with that much solid plan that even authorities of that jail couldn’t identify and discover that Ted is missing for the next 15 hours. After escaping from there he went to Florida and over there he reached out to the Florida State University where he attached four young women resident and killed two of them even he murdered a 12 year old girl whose name was Kimberly Leach.

That was the End of his murderous rampage he soon got caught by the cops in February. Due to his charms looks and intelligence he become celebrity during the trial even he fought his case himself but that won’t work and he got convicted and got death sentence after nine year.

Ted Bundy Wife and Daughter.

Carole Ann Bonne the lady with whom Ted married she was the mother of two girl with whom ted dated and murdered Carole and Ted marriage is also very romantic. Ted proposed her during the trial run in the court and she accepted it infront of the judge and they got married in Florida. In 1982 Bonne gave birth to a girl and she named her with the name of Ted but later on she realized her mistake when Bundy got guilty for his crime that’s why she even divorced him just after three year before his execution she wrote in the book about Ted that she even stopped visiting Bundy during the last two years of his execution.

On January 24, 1989, Ted got executed around morning 7 a.m. at the Florida State Prison with an electric chair which also called “Old Sparky.”. When he got executed there were alots of crowds who cheered and praised the law and jurisdiction of Florida State even some of the crowd set fireworks just after Bundy’s execution.
