Eid 2021 – India is popular for it’s diversity. You will see alots of different types of religious and caste here and we all love and respect each and every relegious. Muslim community celebrate Eid al-Fitr with with great joy and gaiety. In Islamic community Eid festival have it’s own value and according to Islamic calendar this festival comes two times in a year out of which one is said Eid al-Fitr and second one called Eid Ul Adha or Bakra Eid.

People celebrate Eid Ul Fitr after completion of Ramadan. The Eid which comes after Ramadan(रमज़ान) months is also called “Meethi Eid”. Whole world see moon on the day of Eid-Ul-Fitr. Fasting in the Islamic community in the month of Ramadan just before this festival is considered very special.
In the whole month of Ramadan, fasting is observed by the muslim community and they follow all the rules and then at the end of the Ramadan people see full moon and the day called Eid Ul Fitr. Apart from this, this festival is also a symbol of brotherhood. On this day, all the people get hugged and forget each other with hatred or grievance and live in love with each other, So this festival gives the message of brotherly fodder and loving love around the world.
In this festival, all the people themselves become happy as well as they take full care of the happiness of others and all of them celebrate this festival with great love while thinking about each other. People always thing about Allah and they offers prayers in community. All the marketers decorated like a brides on this day and people get new clothes, sweets and distribute it amoung the needy.
People new clothes in the Morning they perform prayers of fajr. They even put ‘perfume’ and mens also worn special cap on the head after that people go to Mosque from their homes to read ‘Namaje Dogana’. On this day people coocked many types of dishes and exchange with each other. On this day mainly siwiyan and sheer are specially coocked by each family. People distributes distributes sweets and happily forgets differences and celebrate happiness this is the how people celebrate this festival.
Why Eid Ul-Fitr is celebrated?
According to The Islamic belief on this day the Prophet Mohammad Saheb won the battle of Badr then this festival started and Muslims from all over the world celebrate this day with great pomp and show. In fact, this festival of Eid ul Fitr is a festival of brotherhood and love. Some of the people from Muslim community celebrate this day with people of other religion and invite them to a feast at their homes and ask Allah to well wish for their family and Pray for them. This is the reason why this festival of Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated with such grandeur.
Significance of Eid Ul Fitr
The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr is very important for both religiously and socially. This festival started after the holy month of Ramadan all over the world Muslims celebrate this festival. People beleived that after Jung-e-Badr in 624, Prophet Mohammad Sahab was celebrated this festival of Eid Ul Fitr for the first time. Since then, this festival has been celebrated with great fanfare every year by the followers Prophet Mohammad Sahab. This festival also contributes to the promotion of social unity and brotherhood. On this day feast is organized by some of the Muslim community at their homes. The main part of this feast is the special sewai made on Eid, which is eaten with great fervor by the people. On this day people of other religions are also invited to feast at their homes by the people of the Muslim community.
What is Eid Ul Adha – Bakra Eid (ईद-उल-अज़हा)
Eid-ul-Azha or Bakra Eid is celebrated after 70 days or two months of Ramadan. As name suggested that day Goat is offered to Allah by the Muslim Community. This Goat sacrifice on this day is considered as a symbol of sacrifice in Islamic religion. Muslims around the world congregate in Mecca, Saudi Arabia in this month and they called it as Haj Yatra. It is belive that Muslim should visit Hajj atleast 1 times in his life and offer prayers in Mecca. This is how this festival is celebrated in the religion of Islam.
When we celebrate Eid Ul Adha or Bakra Eid ? ईद-उल-अज़हा (बकरा ईद) कब मनाई जाती है?
Eid Ul Adha or ईद-उल-अज़हा (बकरा ईद), it comes after 70 days of Eid Ul Fitr ईद-उल-फितर (मीठी ईद). According to Islamic Calendar It celebrate 10 day of 12th Islamic calender month while Bakrid celebrates the Hijri last month Jul Hijab. ईद-उल-अज़हा (Bakra Eid) moon comes 1 day before while in ईद-उल-फितर (Meethi Eid) moon comes 1 day later. In Islam people celebrate festival after looking moon. In the month of Bakri Eid all muslim trying to go to Mecca Madina which is a holy place of muslims situated in Saudi Arabia and this whole journey called Haz that is why this months called a Holy month of Haz.
Why we celebrate Bakra Eid? ईद-उल-अज़हा (बकरा ईद) क्यों मनाई जाती है?
People says that and believe that one day Allah had come in the dream of Hazrat Ibrahim Ji, In which Allah asked to sacrific his most beloved one whom he loved more than his life. Hazrat Ibrahim had more affection towards his son and he loved him more then his life, his name was Ismail, So he decided to sacrifice his son. While he was about to sacrifice Allah stopped him and offered him to sacrifice his Goat in the place of his Son and Hazrat Ibrahim’s son Ismail then went away to become a prophet and since then the festival began and all Muslim community started celebrated this festival. Since then the festival called Bakra Eid or Eid-Ul-Azha. Later on Hazrat Ibrahim Ji Son Ismil become prophet.
In islamic community both of these Eid, Eid-Ul-Fitr and Eid al-Adha celebrated with great enthusiasm. Both these festivals hold an important place in the religion of Islam.
